26th Oct 2022

ICEF Podcast: Are traditional student corridors under pressure?

In this episode of our continuing podcast series, ICEF’s Craig Riggs and Martijn van de Veen discuss the latest developments in our sector, with a focus on Australia's resurgent popularity among leading study destinations, and the increasing variety of messaging apps used to reach prospective students throughout Asia.

They are joined for a feature discussion on some important shifts in global mobility patterns by Chris Kirk, Director at UCAS International, Mirka Martel, Head of Research, Evaluation and Learning at the Institute of International Education (IIE), and Alice Wilby, Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University College of Birmingham.

The episode concludes with a closer look at another key growth market in international education: Egypt.
