ICEF Podcast: Exploring roles and responsibilities in the educator–agency relationship

In this episode of our continuing podcast series, ICEF’s Craig Riggs (editor of ICEF Monitor) and Martijn van de Veen (vice-president of business development) discuss some of the trends shaping student mobility this quarter, including some important developments in US legislation, the growing footprint of virtual internships, and the anticipated easing of border restrictions in Australia.

They are joined this month by Oliver Fortescue, a partner at the industry consultancy Edified, and Bobby Mehta, the Chair of the British Universities' International Liaison Association (BUILA) and director of University of Portsmouth Global. The panel explores some important new research on education agents, and discusses the roles and responsibilities of educators and agents in forming effective working relationships and delivering student services.

The episode is sponsored by FileInvite. Vice President Jackie Young explains how institutions and schools can use the service to gather and manage student identity documents, visa, credentials, transcripts, and application forms in a single secure platform.
