20th Apr 2022

ICEF Podcast: Is studying in English the only viable option?

In this episode of our continuing podcast series, ICEF’s Craig Riggs (editor of ICEF Monitor) and Martijn van de Veen (vice-president of business development) discuss the latest developments in our sector, with a special focus on how foreign enrolments are recovering in the early months of the year in some leading study destinations.

They are joined by Cristina Grasset, director at Spain Education Programs and Olivier Chiche Portiche, the director general for a.i. at Campus France for a feature discussion on the rise of English-medium instruction in France, Spain, and elsewhere. The panel considers the implications of this trend for educators and students alike, and what it means for our contemporary understanding of international education.

The episode concludes with a closer look at another key growth market in international education: Colombia.
