Australian postgraduate applications up sharply in September

A serious rebound in international applications provides some evidence that the Australian government’s drive to encourage higher level study may be having an impact. PIER Online reports, "Applications for postgraduate research visas reached their highest level ever for a September quarter, 21 percent up on the previous peak last year. And higher education visa applications had their second best September quarter after the boom year of 2008-09." Source: PIER Online
