Continued growth for online enrolment in US

For nearly a decade now, the Babson Survey Research Group has been tracking online enrolment in the US as part of a broader annual study of online learning trends. The most recent edition of the survey finds that 6.1 million US students took at least one course online in 2010, and that 31% of all higher education students in America now take at least one course online. Overall, online enrolment has seen a compound annual growth rate of 18.3% since 2002, whereas the population of higher education students in the US has grown by just over 2% during the same period.
