ICEF Podcast: What can student accommodation bookings tell us about the year ahead?

We are all looking for indicators of how demand for study abroad and student mobility are taking shape this year, and student housing providers have some important insights to offer.

In this latest podcast episode, ICEF’s Craig Riggs (Editor of ICEF Monitor) and Martijn van de Veen (Vice-President of Business Development) discuss how the latter stages of the pandemic are taking shape – and the outlook for recovery – in key sending markets and study destinations. They are joined by Nick Emms, research and insights leader for UK-based Accommodation for Students, who shares findings from a recent housing-focused student survey.

The episode is sponsored by BaseCamp Student, a PBSA provider with student communities in Denmark, Germany, and Poland. Elizabeth Cox, Director of BaseLife at BaseCamp, joins the panel as well to share her insights about how students are planning for the year ahead.
