Australia further expands post-study work options in response to Knight Review

Adding to its recent expansion of post-study work options for university students, the Australian government announced this week that an expanded field of graduates of undergraduate and advanced degree programmes from degree-granting institutions in Australia will also be entitled to post-study work visas. Undergraduate students will now be eligible to stay for a two-year work period after graduation, while Master's and doctoral graduates will be eligible for three- and four-year stays respectively. Please see the department's website for additional background on the Knight Review and the government's response to it. Source: Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship
